Today the new version of Copy Handler was released. Development in this release focused on improving overall stability of the program - 3 crashes and several other bugs were fixed. In addition, a new feature was added to allow changing the generated names of duplicate files (the often requested "Copy of SomeFile/Copy (2) of SomeFile"). Enjoy!
We have changed Copy Handler website to use secure connection starting today. As the server is configured to accept only TLS 1.0 and above, this website might be unavailable on some very old browsers (e.g. IE6, IE7). If you are affected - please upgrade your browser to a more modern one.
If you encounter any trouble with this transition, please let me know using the contact form.
A little over 6 years have passed since the latest stable version (1.32) of Copy Handler was released. Today we are releasing the new stable version - 1.40.
That definitely took some time and I hope it was worth waiting for. This release is a major under-the-hood change that will allow for more frequent and better releases from now on. There are also some new interesting features - you can check the list in the changelog.
As you can see, we have updated the website to a newer version of Drupal CMS as the previous version was not supported anymore and most likely susceptible to various attacks, as it was not updated for a long time.
It features also a more cheerful appearance as opposed to the sad one on the old page - hopefully this one will be more readable.
This is the third and probably the last release candidate of the upcoming Copy Handler 1.40.
This release improves CH compatibility with older hardware on Windows XP, fixes the "modified" timestamps of directories and fixes the update checker for Windows XP and Vista users among other bugfixes.
At present only English and Polish translations are fully up to date. The remaining ones needs updating and verifying - if you feel like taking care of that, please check the Translate program section on the left.
